HOW TO USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO DRIVE TICKET SALES FOR YOUR EVENTS

How do you get people to spend money and come to your events? One of the best ways to promote an upcoming event is by using social media. Social media platforms can move your ticket sales to the next level and here are some ways of how to do it:

Sharing photos of previous events – People love to see positive experiences and satisfied customers, so they know they are making the right choice about investing money on your next event. The crowd, the happy faces, the comments and shares will lead you to a larger audience  base and eventually generate ticket sales.

Giveaways and contests – Giving something for free is always a good idea for reaching the target audience and promoting your event. You can offer different freebies through simple steps such as by asking people to enter a contest to win free tickets. The shares, the likes, the comments and the tags will really boost your page and event visibility. Show appreciation to other contestants by offering them a special discount for joining the giveaway contest.

Early bird tickets and group discounts – When you give out special benefits, it will be more likely to have people book their spots for the upcoming event. Have at least 2 different types of pricing: early birds and regular tickets. Also, you can offer group discounts for those who will show up with their friends, coworkers, and families etc.

Teaser campaigns – Give a little information that will intrigue your followers and potential attendees. It could be about the special guests, the speakers, the music band or anything that makes the event stand out. People could simply show up at an event because of any single element that attracts them.

Writing blogs – To increase engagement, you can write short but informative blogs based on your event topics. For example, if your event is about promoting a new book, you can write a blog about the author, about the previous books that were published by them, about the meaning of the book title, or about the main character in the book etc.

Live streaming – If you’re organizing more events and this one is going great, use the situation to make the perfect live video. This way, the audience will look out for your future events and follow your social media platforms.

Updating the social media – Don’t forget to constantly update your social media accounts with useful information that is associated with your events by linking directly to the event registration page.

How Creative House influenced Donna Karan to exclusively serve Macedonian wines at a VIP gala in New York City

Macedonian Wine Association (Wines of Macedonia) organized three promotional events in the United States, where seven Macedonian wineries presented their wines to the American public. Creative House is their official marketing agency for their activities in USA, and as such, took care of the technical and organizational part of the events and thus contributed to their successful realization.

The wine events were held in three different locations in USA: New York, New Jersey and Chicago. At these exclusive wine events, the wineries presented their products to renowned people working in the wine industry.

Supporting the activities of the Macedonian Wine Association in the U.S. is our agency, Creative House, which contributed greatly to the successful realization of these events. Creative House had a chance to position Macedonian wines as sponsors of a prestigious humanitarian event in New York City organized by famous fashion designer Donna Karan and the Urban Zen Foundation. Creative House managed to convince Donna Karan to try Macedonian wines, after which she decided to serve, exclusively, Macedonian wines during her VIP event. This was a great achievement considering the guest list at such an event, which included such guests as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and other celebrities in the field of fashion, entertainment, politics, film and music.

“First of all I must point out that I am very glad that we are supporters of this gala event, as well as all other activities of “Wines of Macedonia” here in the United States. It’s a great feeling to work for Macedonian clients through our U.S. office and to help them present their products to the American public, which is helping us create a space for more successful breakthroughs in this market,” said our CEO Miki Pavlov.

Macedonian wineries through various international events, promotions and competitions, constantly build their image allowing them to successfully penetrate markets outside of Macedonia. They have proven to be of the highest quality in many countries around the world, and continue to strengthen their presence on the U.S. market.

CREATIVE HOUSE IS THE CO-ORGANIZER OF A MARKETING EVENT IN NEW YORK TOGETHER WITH THE NEW YORK MARKETING ASSOCIATION (NYMA) AND WE WORK
Miki Pavlov Creative House CEO

Creative House from New York was the co-organizer of a marketing event at Manhattan together with the New York Marketing Association (NYMA) and We Work last November. The event was opened by Miki Pavlov, the owner and manager of Creative House in New York. About 100 guests from the marketing profession in New York as well as guests from Europe attended the event.
The main organizer of marketing events in New York is the New York Marketing Association (NYMA), which usually organizes 1-2 events each month. NYMA has about 2000 members who are marketing professionals, including marketing directors, brand managers, entrepreneurs, social media specialists, SEO/ WEB traffic experts, etc. This is the second time in a row for Creative House to be the co-organizer of this kind of an event.

NYMA organises probably the most popular so-called Meetups in New York on the topic of marketing. We asked Miki Pavlov how they started the cooperation with the New York Marketing Association.

The cooperation started almost a year ago when I was invited to give a speech at an event organized by the New York Marketing Association, and after that another one followed. In the meantime I was a frequent visitor to those events and we often discussed and shared ideas on how to organize better marketing events. The participants pay a fee to attend, but practically there is no profit since all the money that is collected is spent on covering the expenditure for its organization.

The events consist of two parts – educational one and networking. In several occasions I and several volunteers from my team helped to make the event even more interesting. As a result of the overall cooperation we had had in the previous period the organizers decided to entrust me with the organisation of this event as its main organizer. After that we agreed on a long-term collaboration. Look at the video and see why people from the marketing industry rank this event as one of the better ones in New York on this topic.
